China's banks get cash 'quarantined' to fight coronavirus outbreak

The People's Bank of China (PBOC) has stipulated that cash should be disinfected amid the coronavirus outbreak. Cash in key areas of epidemic control should be stored for 14 days after sterilization before being returned to the market.
