As spring has arrived in China, nanohana flower season has started many provinces. The blooming yellow flowers fill up patches of fields with vibrant color and sweet fragrance. The term nanohana specifically refers to the young shoots of the rapeseed plant, which is an important cash crop in China.
Besides for the economic value, the nanohana flower is popular with tourists. Every spring, the most famous flower fields in south and southwest China get many visitors who love to take pictures in the sea of bright yellow flowers.
