In our special series "Stories from the ICU," CGTN visited a hospital in central China's Wuhan City to meet a patient named Guan. Doctors took her off ECMO, a system which artificially oxygenates blood outside patient's body. However, six days after filming the story, Guan died of multiple organ failure and circulatory collapse.
