Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has told his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio in a phone call that China is ready to help Italy tackle the coronavirus. The Italian foreign minister said his country faced a severe shortage of medical supplies. He said Italy was keen to learn from China's experience and receive Chinese help. Wang Yi said both the Chinese government and enterprises were ready to offer medical supplies, send professionals and increase medical exports to Italy.
