U.S. stocks resume downward slide over coronavirus fears
U.S. stocks resumed their downward slide on Wednesday, falling sharply in opening trading amid rising fears over the coronavirus outbreak.
According to CNN:
The Dow opened 700 points, or 2.9 percent, lower.
The S&P 500 kicked off 2.6 percent lower.
The Nasdaq Composite fell 2.5 percent.
