Bison run in the mountain area at Caucasian State Nature Reserve named after Christopher Shaposhnikov, in Russia's Krasnodar region. The area is situated in the Mostovsky District of Krasnodar, covering an area of 280,335 hectares.

Bison travel in herds and consume a wide variety of plants.
