Chinese national XT works for a bank in Singapore. This Spring Festival, she went back home to China to celebrate the holiday with her family, but ended up having to self-isolate during the period due to the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus. Upon returning to Singapore, she was put on a leave of absence from work and had to self-quarantine for an additional two weeks in her apartment.
