Entitled "Umbrella Sky Project," the public art installation by Portuguese artist Patricia Cunha first appeared in Águeda, Portugal in 2012, as a single idea inspired by Mary Poppins. /VCG

According to the artist, this pink version relies on a quote from Audrey Hepburn: "I believe in pink…" To the artist, the color embodies happiness and optimism. /VCG

The project has been widely recognized worldwide and has brightened skies in several cities, including Tokyo, Seoul, and Saint Petersburg. /VCG

The installation in Paris went up in February and will be on view until May 3. /VCG
