The U.S. State Department has issued its report on human rights in countries around the world. As in past years, it particularly criticizes China, Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba. 

CGTN spoke to Professor Huo Zhengxin, who talked about the anti-terrorism measures taken by the Chinese government in Xinjiang and the situation in Hong Kong.
