It is estimated that over 10,000 migrating birds will land in the outskirts of Beijing every day in March before heading to the next destination, according to Beijing Gardening and Greening Bureau. Miyun District in northern Beijing is one of the birds' favorite spots. Some wild swans were seen playing in a river in Taishitun Town on March 15.
