The send-off ceremony for the aircraft that transports the Olympic flame to Japan from Greece takes place ahead of this summer's Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Olympian judo professional Tadahiro Nomura, Tokyo 2020 Tokyo Relay Official Ambassador, and Olympian wrestling professional Saori Yoshida are participating in the event. 

On March 12, the International Committee confirmed its full commitment to the success of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
