Brunei inaugurated Tuesday the cross-sea Temburong Bridgeon linking the capital Bandar Seri Begawan with the Temburong district, which used to be geologically isolated from the rest of the country.
The CC4 section of the 30-kilometer bridge, stretching 12 km and including a fully prefabricated viaduct that crosses Brunei's uninhabited forests and swamps, was constructed by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited. The construction of CC4 section demonstrates the technological strength and innovation capability of the Chinese company.
On a separate note, Brunei has banned all residents from leaving the country to curb the spread of the COVID-19.
