M5.9 quake hits Mongolia: CENC

A magnitude-5.9 earthquake hit Mongolia at around 11:03 a.m. BJT on Friday, according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).  

Tremors were also felt in some areas of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, said the CENC.

The quake was recorded at a depth of ten kilometers. No casualties have been reported so far.
