Mother and daughter in Ireland decided to hold a joint wedding and honeymoon. Aisling Cislikauskiene, 35, and her mother Trisha Duffy, 53, tied the knot on a joint wedding ceremony on February 14, 2020, the Valentine's Day, with their fiancés. /VCG

The four kept the special decision a secret to their friends. They only told them that it was a big day for the mother and her fiancé Joe Fitzgerald at first. It was not until the couple finished their wedding routine did they tell the guests to stay for a surprise. /VCG

"And then I (and fiancé Marius Cislikauskiene) walked in, nobody had suspected a thing! They were all absolutely shocked, but so thrilled for us," said the daughter, adding that "It honestly was the best day of our lives. It was absolutely perfect." /VCG

As they said, the sister-like pair have always been "more like best friends than mother and daughter." The four also went on a shared honeymoon together for a week after the ceremony – a week-long cruise around the Spanish Islands. /VCG
