A surveillance camera captured a two-year-old female panda, named Xiao Xin, falling onto the ground after trying to climb a cliff inside a panda base in Foping County of Hanzhong City, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on Monday.

Xiao Xin, along with male panda Lu Lu, was moved to the Foping Panda Valley from the Shaanxi Rare Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Research Center for wildness training on December 16, 2019.

The Foping Reserve covers 29,240 hectares of rugged mountain terrain and is home to a stable panda population. Forested lands dominate the reserve with a mix of conifers and deciduous broadleaf trees.
