The first chartered train was taking more than 1,000 migrant workers back to Wuhan. The train arrived at 4:50 p.m. Saturday in Hankou railway station where more than 30 buses were waiting to take them to their accommodations.

These migrant workers are mainly from Xiangyang and Shiyan cities in Hubei Province. They had gone back to their hometown for the Spring Festival holiday before the lockdown was implemented in the central China province and its capital Wuhan. Most of them work for auto manufacturer Dongfeng Honda in Wuhan.

This is a sign that Wuhan continues to get the epidemic situation under control.
