A doctor was injured after a knife-wielding patient attacked her on Thursday in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The incident took place at the Ordos Central Hospital around 12:45 Beijing Time when the doctor, identified by her surname Tang, was preparing the patient for dialysis.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the attack. The doctor is in stable condition and police have detained the suspect.
