White storks are migratory birds; they travel between Europe and Africa annually. White storks fly south to wintering habitats in August and September each year, and they are back in March to breed.
Storks are quite popular in Europe. People welcome them as neighbors, since storks build nests on houses. Some stories tell of storks bringing babies to new parents. Do you have white storks living in your neighborhood?
