German Chancellor Angela Merkel has put herself under quarantine after coming into contact with an infected doctor. Merkel received a vaccine against a pneumonia-causing bacteria on Friday. The doctor who administered the shot later tested positive for COVID-19.
The announcement came on Sunday after a series of stricter measures were rolled out across the country.
