The total number of infections in Italy continues to rise, nearing 60,000 cases and over 5,400 deaths. Xiao Ning, a member of China's expert team in Italy helping fight COVID-19, said they found only 40 percent of people on the street were wearing masks. Andrea Savorani Neri, an Italian journalist who's vlogging his daily life under lockdown, went to several pharmacies in Faenza to buy a mask. He found that masks were out of stock in most pharmacies and staff members were not sure when they would get new ones. Only a few pharmacies had masks in stock, but the price per each rocketed from two to three euros to 10, as they have become a priceless asset.
