Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe proposed delaying the Tokyo Olympics by at least one year on a call with International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach on Tuesday, reported NHK.
The 2020 Summer Olympics was scheduled to run from July 24 to August 9, but concerns about COVID-19 risks may hamper its staging.
