From a bird's-eye view, the Nallihan Hills in central Turkey's Ankara are endowed with an illusive texture resembling dragon claws.

The colorful hills are not far from the Nallihan Bird Sanctuary, which houses nearly 200 bird species. The Sakarya River in this bird paradise is home to birds like spoonbills, mallards, cormorants, northern pintails and cranes.

One might even see eagles, hawks and other raptors atop rocky hills waiting to hunt smaller birds.
