Du Yun is the Party chief of the Fangcao Community CPC Committee, Hanyang District, Wuhan City in central China's Hubei Province. When Wuhan became the epicenter of the COVID-19 epidemic, her top priority was to protect the residents of her community. Du, an ex-doctor, worked nonstop along with her colleagues to assess the situation of 3,846 households within two days. "It's like a battlefield, every morning I arrived at my office, I was too busy to do anything other than community work."
