A total of more than 300,000 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed worldwide, and the epidemic is fast spreading, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of WHO, said the spread of the disease is still accelerating.
