Beijing has reviewed the list of "high risk" countries and regions amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to local authorities.
U.S., Spain, UK, Italy, Germany, France, Iran, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece, Israel, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan are now categorized as "high risk."
China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was also listed as a "high risk" region.
The Chinese capital city has logged 145 imported cases originating from 17 countries so far, according to the Beijing Municipal Health Commission.
