International Olympics Committee President Thomas Bach says the rescheduled Olympics may take place before summer 2021. China and Australia have voiced support for postponing the event, saying Japan is prioritizing the athletes' and participants' health and safety. They also expressed optimism that next year's Games will be the greatest in Olympic history.
