Italian doctor: Insufficient testing means mortality rate is biased

The rate of new cases in Italy has slowed for a fourth day in a row and the WHO expects the cases in the country to peak this week.

Doctor Valerio Mogini, the head of Italian Red Cross Public Health, said a key challenge that Italian hospitals are facing is that a large number of patients need intensive care, adding that the high mortality rate in Italy is because testing had been insufficient in the country.
