Two batches of medical supplies donated by private organizations from China have reached Malaysia, helping boost the fight against COVID-19. The donations came from the charity foundations of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba. They include 500,000 face masks. Some 50,000 test kits are also on the way. The Malaysian authorities have ordered a two-week partial lockdown across the nation since March 18, which was later extended until April 14 as coronavirus cases continue to surge.
