A Polymerase Chain Reaction laboratory built by Chinese experts opened in Baghdad on March 25. The facility is drastically improving Iraq's capacity for testing suspected novel coronavirus cases. The lab can process up to 1,000 tests per day, a huge increase from the 200 to 300 tests the country could perform in a day. Chinese Red Cross experts have also helped over 100 medical workers run the lab.
