Spain is in a state of emergency as its total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has risen to 73,235 on March 29. Nuria, a nurse working at a community health center in Barcelona, shares the problems she and her colleagues have faced amid the coronavirus outbreak. Due to the rapid rise in new cases, some medical staff even can't get PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests done in time.
One of Nuria's colleagues has been waiting for nearly a week to get a test. Nuria's job is to follow up on patients quarantined at home to update their situation. Apart from the physical hardship, she often feels mentally exhausted calling and comforting so many patients in need every day. She believes that we all need inner strength during this dark time.
