Chinese telecom giant China Mobile launched 5G commercial service in Hong Kong, marking the start of a new era in the Chinese special administrative region. The 5G services will be offered to individual users and industries. So far, China Mobile Hong Kong has set up 500 5G base stations in the city, covering 90 percent of the key areas.
