Egypt has been ramping up efforts to disinfect public places to curb the spread of the COVID-19 with the epidemic control and prevention departments of the Egyptian Agriculture Ministry leading the sterilization efforts in locations around Cairo.
 Meanwhile, Egypt has imposed a two-week overnight curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., which started on March 25.
