COVID-19: China says it has received no U.S. aid

China said on April 3 that it had not received any financial support from the U.S. government for efforts to curb the coronavirus outbreak. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said, "Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and U.S. officials had announced that the Trump administration would provide $100 million in aid to China and other countries. China has not seen a dime." She also questioned whether Washington has paid what it owes to the World Health Organization (WHO).
