A medical gear producer in Guangzhou City has developed two new types of anti-viral N95 masks that can be used for seven days.

Guangzhou Jet Biofiltration used silicone with antimicrobial properties in the inner and outer layers of the mask to fend off bacteria. In addition, a membrane filter material was used in another type of N95 mask, replacing melt-blown nonwoven fabric. The two products are now being tested.

Guangdong Province's daily output of face masks has exceeded 23 million.
