The New England Patriots team plane returned to Boston from China carrying 1.2 million N95 protective masks, which are critical in curbing the spread of the coronavirus. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker said he had secured the N95 masks from China but needed help transporting them back to the United States for distribution. Patriots team owner Robert Kraft offered to help and sent the National Football League club's team plane to collect the shipment. Massachusetts could see 47,000 to 172,000 COVID-19 cases during the pandemic, which is between 0.7 and 2.5 percent of the state's population.
