At least one person was killed and four others injured after an explosion caused a five-story building to collapse in a town east of Moscow on Saturday, reported local media Sputnik.

Local authorities believe the explosion was caused by a gas leak on the third floor of the building.

It is unclear how many people were in that building when the explosion happened and rescue operations are underway.
