China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Sunday said a new African swine fever outbreak was found in Yunyang County, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

The outbreak happened on a farm with 298 pigs illegally transported from elsewhere. 64 of the pigs were dead.

Local authorities have handled the outbreak and an investigation is underway.
