As the world's total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reaches more than 1 million, the epicenter of the pandemic is taking hold in the United States. Recently, the confirmed cases in the U.S. has increased sharply from 20,000 a day to 30,000 a day.
Einar Tangen, independent current affairs commentator, pointed out that the soaring number is a result of both enhanced testing and increased infections.
