If you have never heard of Wuhan before COVID-19, you certainly have now. But aside from its struggle against the coronavirus, what do you really know about this city of 11 million people?
Located in China's heartland, Wuhan is a major port on the Yangtze River and home to more people than either New York or London. The archetypal powerhouse city is a hub of manufacturing, finance, transport and education.
