Three Chinese citizens were killed in an armed attack at a mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) on Saturday night, according to the Chinese embassy.

The embassy has asked DRC authorities to take concrete measures to protect the lives and property of Chinese citizens in the country and urged them to speed up the investigation and arrest the perpetrators.
