Wuhan's lockdown is being lifted as the coronavirus outbreak is effectively contained after draconian measures were taken in China. CGTN's Tao Yuan is at the exit of a highway in Wuhan bringing live reports.

In a bid to resume the outbound movement of people, the health commission of central China's Hubei Province announced on Tuesday that residents of Wuhan will be allowed to travel outside the city starting Wednesday.
