Miyun Reservoir is a major water source of Beijing, capital of China. It is also an important stopover for migratory birds. Flocks of birds have arrived here, including gulls, cormorants and swans. With the ice thawed, personnel at Miyun Reservoir have begun their daily cleaning tasks to provide a better environment for the "guests."
