Nyingchi is a prefecture tucked in the eastern corner of southwestern China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Every year from March to April, peach blossoms herald the arrival of spring. Nyingchi's average altitude is about 3,100 meters, lower than most of Tibet. With warm and wet currents from the Indian Ocean, Nyingchi has turned into a land with lush trees and flowers.
