Dubai opens drive-through COVID-19 testing centers in the city, which are capable of conducting up to 250 tests a day at each center. Dubai authorities have announced tighter measures to combat the novel coronavirus, and people are only allowed essential travel.

The United Arab Emirates has recorded more than 2,000 cases of the coronavirus and 12 deaths. As of April 9, the Saudi royal family confirmed 150 COVID-19 cases.
