The city of Cannes on the French Riviera is using drones to disinfect its streets, as the country continues to battle COVID-19 that has so far killed more than 12,000 nationwide. Cannes officials plan to evaluate the effects of the disinfection and hold another drone clean-up one week before the end of the coronavirus lockdown. No official date has been established for the end of the nationwide confinement.
