Spring has arrived and a pair of beautiful crested ibises named Honghong and Huohuo in Yangxian County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, have once again started their natural breeding journey of building a nest together and giving birth to new life in the wild.
However, the incubation journey for them is not easy. The female crested ibis is already 17 years old, roughly equivalent to a 50-year-old human. If the eggs are successfully hatched, it will set a new breeding age record for crested ibises in the wild.
So, if we wait for around 30 days, we'll hopefully witness the birth of new life.
