A new COVID-19 hot spot is emerging in China's northeastern Heilongjiang Province. The small city of Suifenhe, bordering Russia, has a total of 151 confirmed cases and 148 asymptomatic cases, all of them Chinese nationals returning home. The whole city is now on high alert. It has put all residential communities on lockdown, and all border crossings have been temporarily closed. A temporary hospital is being built to deal with the surge of new patients.
