Zdena Nemethyova is an ordinary person making a special contribution to her country by sewing face masks to cope with the shortage of protective supplies in Slovakia. To share her designs and sewing experience, she created a Facebook group called "Sewing masks" now with 2,000 members. So far, the group made and distributed over 11,000 face masks to over seven hospitals.

"I am someone who is constantly suffering from a guilty feeling that I'm not doing enough," Nemethyova said. That was when she started to work with a web portal to meet the growing need for face masks in Slovakia.
