In a valley in Xinyuan County in Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a large forested area of ancient wild apricots has welcomed the flowering season. During spring, local staff members spray pesticide to apricot trees. As part of the wild fruit ecological system in Tianshan mountain range, the local forest bureau has taken a lot of measures to prevent forest degradation and protect the genetic resources of wild fruits.
