ASEAN+3 holds special summit on COVID-19

The leaders of ten Southeast Asian countries have held a special virtual meeting with leaders of China, Japan and South Korea to discuss the pandemic. They shared experiences and discussed potential cooperation to contain the disease. Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired the meeting and raised concerns over economic damage. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang called for joint efforts to defeat the virus.
